A tradition my grandmother started, and I carried forward

About Us

Tennessee Mountain Tributes is a family-owned business rooted in East Tennessee. I was born and raised here, I graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and later from ETSU. My family has called this area home for generations.

Kingsport and the surrounding mountains have shaped my life, and that connection to home is what guides every tribute we deliver, with care, respect, and attention to detail.

A Promise Kept

When I was young, my grandfather passed away suddenly. My grandmother and I began visiting his grave together, and it became our small ritual. We would look for flowers that felt right for the season and find little things he would have liked. These visits felt special to me. They made him feel present, giving our family something to look forward to each time we returned. It was a way to honor him and bring a little of his personality into the space that held his memory.

When my grandmother passed away in 2020, I did not live close enough to visit her gravesite often. I searched for a service that offered the kind of care I wanted to give, but I couldn't find it. I wanted something thoughtful and personal, something that felt like the same type of care we had always shown my grandfather. I wanted to bring the seasons to her site and include the small touches that made her who she was. I simply wanted a way to stay connected, even when distance made it difficult.

That is the reason Tennessee Mountain Tributes exists. It is meant to help families create tributes that feel meaningful and personal. This goes far beyond just choosing flowers. Every tribute is built around the person you are remembering, and the possibilities are endless. Whether it is colors they loved, hobbies they had, military symbols, or seasonal themes, the goal is to let their personality show and to keep honoring them in a way that feels true.

Whether you live across the country or right here in East Tennessee, the intention is the same. I want the site to feel cared for and thoughtfully arranged. I want every visit to reflect love and memory, allowing families to feel connected even when they cannot physically be here.

This work continues the care my grandmother taught me, one tribute at a time.
